This memorial website was created to remember our dearest Blaine Goff who was born in California on September 20, 1954 and passed away on April 18, 2014. You will live forever in our memories and hearts.


Blaine Alan Goff, age 59, of Denver, Colorado, passed away at The Denver Hospice on Friday evening, April 18, 2014. Blaine was born at the Camp Pendleton Marine Corps base on September 20, 1954 where his father was serving as a United States Marine. Blaine attended University High School in Iowa City, Iowa and moved to Estes Park, Colorado after graduation.  Throughout his adult life he moved back and forth between Iowa City, IA, Des Moines, IA and Denver, CO.  He settled in Denver close to his children around 1995. 


Blaine was an avid reader and writer. He enjoyed classic rock and all discussion philosophical. In his earlier years he could be found running marathons, competing in amateur boxing and rock climbing in Colorado. More recently, Blaine enjoyed walking five miles daily with his beloved dog Bailey and spending time with his children and grandchildren. 


He is survived by his children; Sarah Nelson (34) of Longmont, CO, Jessi Morales (30) of Aurora, CO, Alex Morales (28) of Aurora, CO and Gabe Morales (25) of Denver, CO.  His grandchildren; Emma Nelson (10), Sawyer Miller (6), Aidan Nelson (5), Riley Miller (5) and Phoebe Miller (3) all of Longmont, CO. His sister Peggy Gilbert of Virginia Beach, VA, Niece; Janell Rudy of Des Moines, IA; Nephew; Brandon Petersen of Cincinnati, OH and many aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his mother and father; Ardythe and Blaine Goff of Des Moines, IA.  His maternal grandparents; Viola and Robert Wade and his paternal grandparents; Reeva and Maynard Goff of Washington, IA. 


Blaine was an intelligent, thoughtful and nurturing individual who will be greatly missed by those who knew him.

Blaine donated his body to science, will be cremated and returned to his family.
